Offerings for May 23rd Pickup

Hi friends,

We’ve got an even wider selection of offerings this week for you all. Check out the several varieties of lettuce, as well as the classics like bok choy and mustards. More radishes are coming in including the beloved watermelon radish – light pink on the outside and bright pink/red on the inside! Gorgeous thinly sliced on top of salads or perfect pickled! Don’t let their pickled smell fool you, the taste is delicious on just about anything!

If you haven’t tried the hakurei turnips yet, make sure to check those out. Mild, sweet, and crunchy, they can be eaten raw or cooked, and they will convert any turnip-hater :)

As a reminder, the market closes on Wednesday night at 6pm. Pick up your order at The Nashville Food Project headquarters (5904 California Ave) on Saturday from 9-11am.

Payment – You can choose to pay with your credit card at the time of purchase or with a personal check at the time of pickup. Due to COVID-19, we are shifting towards a cash-free ordering and pickup system to minimize contact with shared surfaces for our customers, staff, and farmers.

As always, please reach out with any questions or feedback. We’d love to hear from you!
